care facility, place of worship, banking or financial institution. You
can also contact us
to let the board know about specific community or personal issues, review
minutes and agendas from previous meetings and get a chance to
join CAN by downloading the membership application.
Goals
for 2008:
• Increase Membership
• Land Use - Insure that vacant land in CAN community is part of
the
Old Fourth Ward Master Plan legislation
• Public
Safety Improvements - Police Presence and Lighting
• Parks - Define and implement strategy to keep parks clean and
insure maintenance of our parks
• Website/Communication Improvements
Neighborhood volunteers
are needed to work on planning/organizing upcoming neighborhood social
events, help with the membership drive, communications committee and form
an public safety committee. Please contact any board member to volunteer.
